A photograph preserves a moment.
A film lets you hear it, feel it, and step back inside it.
My work is rooted in real moments, thoughtful composition, and a calm presence on the wedding day. The goal is a film that feels polished and cinematic, but still honest to who you are and what the day actually felt like.
Watch the films to see how your story can be remembered in motion.
Your wedding day is more than a timeline of events. It’s the people who came to celebrate you, the vows you can still hear years later, the laughter during the speeches, the quiet glances, and the energy of everyone you love in one place.
Your wedding day is more than a timeline of events. It’s the people who came to celebrate you, the vows you can still hear years later, the laughter during the speeches, the quiet glances, and the energy of everyone you love in one place.
My work blends a documentary approach with a polished, cinematic finish. I focus on real moments, natural emotion, and the atmosphere of the day, while still giving enough direction when it helps you feel comfortable on camera.
The goal is a wedding film that feels elevated and beautifully made, but still honest to who you are and what the day actually felt like.
You’ll look at your photos every anniversary. You’ll frame them, share them, and pass them down.
Film gives you something different.
It lets you hear your vows again. It brings back the laughter during the speeches, the movement on the dance floor, the way the room erupted after the ceremony, and the quiet moments you barely had time to take in.
That’s what a wedding film does. It lets you return to the feeling of the day, not just the way it looked.

I'm a Santa Barbara-based wedding cinematographer creating polished, story-driven films for elevated celebrations across Central and Southern California. My approach is calm, professional, and unobtrusive, with an emphasis on capturing the day beautifully while staying true to how it felt.
Most of my weddings are throughout Santa Barbara, Ventura, Ojai, Montecito, Malibu, Los Angeles, Orange County, and the surrounding Southern California region. I’m also open to travel for the right celebration, especially when the location, story, and overall fit make sense.
My presence is calm, observant, and intentional. I want you to feel comfortable, present, and able to enjoy the day while I capture what is happening around you. I’ll offer guidance when it helps you feel more natural on camera or when we need something specific for the film, but much of my work is about reading the room, following the energy of the day, and knowing when to step in or step back.
Couples often tell me they felt comfortable, that nothing felt forced, and that I blended into the day while still capturing the moments that mattered.
I work closely and respectfully alongside the photography team so the day feels smooth, collaborative, and easy for you. I communicate, adapt, and stay aware of the flow of the timeline so we can all capture what matters without pulling you in different directions.
Photography and film preserve the day in different ways. Photos give you the still frames you’ll print, frame, and pass down. Film brings back the movement, voices, vows, music, laughter, speeches, and energy of the room. Together, they tell a fuller story.
My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling with a polished, cinematic finish. I’m there to capture the day as it truly felt: the people, the place, the emotion, the celebration, and the small in-between moments that make your wedding feel like yours.
With a background in journalism, I’m drawn to real moments and honest storytelling. I want your film to feel true to the day, while still being carefully composed, thoughtfully edited, and beautiful to watch.
